They're lovely. We have a small forsythia but it's only a couple years old. It bloomed in our early spring but is still so immature that it didn't have too many blossoms. We're hoping for better results next spring.
I love forsythia and its happy yellow color. Unfortunately, you are reminding me that my big chore for tomorrow is cutting mine down. They are badly overgrown and need to be refreshed.
Wonderful shots. I just recently learned I've been pronouncing the name wrong - it is apparently named after a Mr. Forsyth and should be Forsyth-ia not Fors-ith-ia. Still a great plant.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Beautiful yellow flowers. It looks like spring has sprung :-)
What a bright, happy color. Your macros are great!
They are very pretty. But they don't last very long, right? Sad.
Re your comment on Ocala: Yes, it was quite chilly - in the 70s I think.
I always love to see these blooming in spring.
I noticed them today - they seem to be at their peak! Nice shot!

Beautiful! I miss my forsythia bushes...I guess I'll just have to plant some here in Wisconsin.
I think forsythia is so hard to photograph well, but you did a great job here.
Mine too I am so happy I see the first color in my garden and it's yellow! Great macro shots love it!

I love forsythia or forsyth-ia, however it is pronounced.
