Hummingbird #1
I have never seen so many hummingbirds in one place as I saw last Thursday outside a home on the Credit River. In several places in the front yard were feeders and myriad plants loved by hummers. No doubt the river and woods nearby also attracted these little birds.
I leaned over the cedar rail fence with my camera and zoomed in to take these photos.
Hummingbird #2
Meanwhile a couple of hummers checked me out, and then resumed eating or hiding in the shrubbery.
Hummingbird #3
This hummingbird may look confused but he'e actually pondering that age-old question: Is it half full or half empty?

Oh... I put out my feeder here and haven't gotten any!
Back in Jackson I would sometimes have up to five at a time.
Great shots!!!
Wonderful hummingbird photos! Great how you captured their super speedy wings!!
Wonderful captures of the Hummers. They are adorable little birds and I love watching them.
They're amazing!!!! My contribution.
Aww! I'd love to be close enough to capture that. :) Excellent captures!
They are so cute :) I have never seen one in nature. LG Tina
Beautiful!!! What's odd....this year we still have some hummers. They usually boogaloo outta here by mid June...not this year. I wonder what's up with that? What do they know that we humans don't?!!

Have a terrific weekend.
Too funny, EG, too funny! =)
They sure are beautiful!
I love hummingbirds! i never saw them in real life :( but I find them so lovely and cute! a marvel from nature. Did you see the one of the movie Benjamin Button?..
Wow - so pretty!
Great shots!
Another great avian capture. I'm not sure why bird watching is so compelling, is it that we too wish we could fly? Perhaps it is just that Birds take so many forms that we enjoy the variety.
Oh I love your humming bird shots.
My critter post, have a nice weekend!
Fabulous!
Wow! You get them in motion. I'm completely impressed with your mad skillz.
Lovely bird.
Regards!
Wonderful captures!
Hummers are so much fun to watch. We have had quite a few this year and now a pair is hanging around tasting all the flowers and the one feeder deciding which they like best.
It won't be long they'll be leaving here. Some days they are already fighting at the feeder and I only have two! :)
Hummers will congregate where they are made welcome, especially with food! You got some great shots!
We have more hummingbirds this year than we've had in several years. But I haven't gotten any pictures nearly this good.
Great wing action on the first photo especially.
Very well done. These things are very difficult to capture. Colorful, too!
Oh, I love hummingbirds! You got such nice pictures of them!
