Fish Sanctuary on Lake Scugog, Port Perry, Ontario
This is a watery path that leads from a boat launch into Lake Scugog. No fishing allowed here between April first to the second Friday in May.
I am linking to Watery Wednesday where you can find many more watery photos.

So simple and sooooo beautiful. You have a very good eye to catch the motiv! :)
"And a river runs through it"..Beautyful scenery!
It's breeding time.
I agree with Cezar and Leia, it's a fantastic angle. But if you did not say it leads to a lake, i am wondering how it happened to be a fish sanctuary.
another place I think we must visit........

It seems a picture!
Great landscape!
pretty greens and blues.
beautiful and inviting!
hope you have a great day!
You've made a fine composition out of all that was available to you. I like the way the waterway curves back through the reeds. Fine image.
I am wondering if anyone follows that lovely path, like with a small boat?
Lovely scenery - looks peacful.
what a vibrant colour those reeds are
I am so enjoying your blog it is like going on a mini trip every time. I am happy I found you. B
Here in OK, fishing restrictions are merely a challenge to some.
I love your pic, it looks like a fish path to me.
love those colors!
I have friends with a cottage there - it is a lovely lake!
Looks like a great spot for birds too. Very nice.
This is a beautiful watery picture. I really like the colors.
IF I can remember, I want to look this lake up on Google Earth....this looks really interesting.
Gorgeous! Love all the green.
I agree with a lot of the comments here, the colors are so rich and so much nice greenery. A very nice capture!

Lovely image.
Luscious!
My share Watery Wednesday.
I wonder how deep the water is here.
Beautiful colors in this photo. Our fishing seasons on the creeks end September 30th...Hubby is trying to get as much fishing in as he can.
Love the relaxed, wandering feel of the water and the wonderful golds of the earth alongside are stunning!
That does look like a beautiful place to stop and explore!
The colors are really amazing.
As you can tell from my last posts, I spent much of last week close to a national wildlife preserve in VA. It was wonderful. Sights like the one you captured in this photograph were what I saw and loved. I love the way the water in the marshes runs through the grasses....like a little watery winding road. Beautiful shot. genie
What a lovely place. The colours are go good. To answer your question about how I progessed my glass shots, I just adjusted the exposure (reduced) and colours.
This is a beautiful space!
It is so lush and green I bet the fish love it.
Love the S-shaped watery path. The grass is so green!
Very dreamy! Do fishermen keep to the rule?
never heard of fish sanctuary before. But it sunds good to me. :)
Beautiful!
Love the way you shot this from a vertical angle--it emphasizes the meandering path of the water. What kind of fish?
What a lovely place, I am glad it is a sanctuary.
