VINTAGE hay rake
Here you see part of a small collection of VINTAGE Dinky Toys. These Dinky Toys date back to the late 1940s and early 1950s, die-cast miniature farm machinery kids used to play with and today adults collect.
Above you see a miniature tractor pulling a hay rake, a machine that collected hay or straw into windrows to later be picked up another machine that made bales.
VINTAGE disc harrow
A disc harrow cultivated the soil before seeds were planted.
VINTAGE manure spreader
A maure spreader - you guessed it - spread manure.

OMG this is so cute! I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday and found tiny kitchen appliances it made me smile and here's another one a tiny vintage hay rake and manure spreader hehe. This is way too cool!! Love it!

we had a disc like that one...we had a hay rake similar to that one only ours was for a horse. My mom and dad gave it to someone when we no longer used it but I have no idea who.
I still see these things (not the toy variety) sitting on the edge of farms. I'm not sure if they are still put to use, though.

I used to have some of those - gave them all away when I was "too big" for them - wish I still had them!
I love those! I have a few less vintage tractors and equipment in my toy box for the grandkids when they are here...

I love the vintage farm equipment. My son and nephews spent hours and hours playing "small farm". I guess the large farm would have been out helping on the real farm. :-)

Long long ago, I helped my dad use one of these on our farm! We didn't have enough hay to bale, and my dad loved to keep vintage equipment around...

Quite often our sidewalks look like a manure spreader has jus passed...

So cool - you have some real treasures there...wondering if they are similar to the ones made in England - Lesney? Matchbox...our son inherited a whole little suitcase of those in 1977 I think...The Matchbox toys came after the mid '50's??
I think today's young children miss out on a lot of fun - too many issues about safety, etc.
