Seen at artist Viktor Tinkl's home, Sunderland, Ontario
Some of us have skeletons in our closets but Viktor Tinkl has them on his house and in various places around the property he owns with his wife, Judith. Tinkl's figures are made of cement so are permanent -- not just for Halloween.
On the side of his workshop
Menacing? No! Tinkl's art is more humourous than scary.
Do you feel the joie de vivre here?
Okay, the photo above is NOT of a skeleton, but don't you agree that the figures here look like they are having FUN?
Another skeleton but created in a different style
Have you also noticed that Tinkl uses recycled materials as well as cement?

Oh how I love an artists creativity. The mind is a very cool thing is it not? Great shots. B
These are fantasical!
hee hee...
With a name like "Tinkl", you would have to have a sense of humour!
I love visiting Walter's place, his whole house and property is so intriguing. Perfect pics for Hallowe'en!
Very creative and humorous! I enjoyed seeing how the artist used recycled materials as well as the cement. :)
he is super talented as an artist, but i am wondering why skeletons. would not want them on my house and would not buy one either. i bet his house is a sight to see, and i would like to see it.
I rather like these. And they're perfect for a Halloween post! Hope you get lots of treats tonight. ;)
To each his own. There are some things I shall never understand and this is one of them. :-)
Happy Halloween to you!
This artist’s creativity knows no bounds by the looks of it! These unique statues displayed year round around his home are certainly eye catching. It would be an especially neat place to go trick or treating tonight. :)
how original and creative.
I think all of the skeletons and other creatures here look like they are having fun, enjoying their life. (Hope the grammar police don't catch me!) I am certain I would not want to live in a house with these decorations, but they are unique!!
oh you have me spooked!!! I got distracted by the "planet photography" in previous post. I love when you do that. and these skeletons by this artist are amazing. my favorite is the 3rd one down - where they're kicking up their heels and having so much fun! love the expressions too. this was a great find EG. thanks for sharing. I love it. happy day to you.
great set of shots! have a good halloween
I love that third one! Makes me want to dance for some reason:))
Cool post for the day!
Unique but not quite my decorating style!
I like these skeletons and other creations. Thanks for finding and sharing these.
This display would bring me to a screeching halt, camera at the ready.
Spooky place! Great photos and angles.
Hope you have a nice evening:-)
What a fantastic collection of skeletons. Happy Halloween!
Those skeletons are so full of life! Great shots.
WOW! Fantastic!
Happy Halloween!
I feel lifeless all of a sudden! Happy all Hallow's Eve!
Great skeletons, it looks as if he has been able to recycle all kinds of stuff to make these.
You do find the most varied and appropriate subjects for your post. Ther must be a never-ending store of statues and structures in your area.
These are just the ticket for this evening.
These are great.
Very unique!
Great pics from the place.
I love whimsical stuff like that.
What fun these skeletons are having! A very intricate use of cement (and recycled materials), too.
The third photo is wonderful. Definitely joie de vivre!

He's really an artist! I couldn't live with a skeleton on my house but I must admit those skeletons are funny!
Great sculptures! They are all having fun, you are right!
Wonderfully whimsical. Love!! :)
Love 'em all but then, I'm not at all skittish when it comes to skeletons. He sure has a great sense of humour.
Very clever and he has a sense of humour, but I don't think I would want them around my house on a permanent basis. He obviously has a fascination for the human frame.
These are just fantastic. Super that he has the property to have fun and be creative like that, just fabulous.
These skeletons are really fun and i love that they are made of recycled stuff as well as cement!
Lorelei would love these!
