There's more of an effort up that way than where I am. I want a little more winter for my Christmas (though I know many would not agree that snow is worth it)
Gorgeous capture and it does look COLD! Reminds me of the years I lived in Montana!! Hope your week is going well! Wishing your a very Merry Christmas!
when I was in Windsor, I sat on a freezing bench, and see "iceBergs" flow down the Detroit River. I found some of these friends on Face book, and we have great time talking about this.
Winter is almost here.....so you have some ice forming. We have not had any here as yet. This is another beautiful capture. Lovely photography tonight. genie
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

"A truly gorgeous shot," he said icily, watching as she pulled on her mittens and stuffed the camera into a large pocket in her large coat!
Looks pretty cold to me. Will it totally ice over before winter leaves?

I know you did not take that photo today - I could walk on the ice, quite a ways out from shore this morning.

Yes, EG, it IS that time of year. Maybe even overdue . . .

A beautiful image that it is unlikely we will see in Rio de Janeiro. Thanks for sharing.
Be happy!
So beautiful. But I'd like to view if from a toasty warm room with a fire.
Just looking at that icy water gave me a chill. Beautiful pic, though.
Beautiful to see. Our ice has been coming and going. The ice fisherman don't have a prayer at this rate!
This looks like a painting -- and I mean that as a compliment. It's absolutely beautiful; a perfect wintry scene.
Kind of wishing I could have been there....
Watery Wednesday could be a challenge here. Maybe a puddle.
The photo creates a nice sense of clean slate. http://looseleafnotes.com

My Watery. May you have a joyful holiday!
