What a terrific capture for the day! Great reflections and it does look COLD! I'm probably repeating myself, but hope you have a terrific and very Happy New Year, EG!
I take it you did NOT have a white Christmas! Your lovely reflection shot today literally gave me a chill! Wish you a new year of joy and health... and many fun hours of blogging, EG.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

That looks like a wonderful place to spend a weekend - summer or winter!
Sunny and cold, nice pic.
I am enjoying all the reflections in today's meme on many blogs. Your water and ice blog is terrific.
so beautiful, a wonderful place to see and be and a super shot photo.
Beautiful shot it looks soo peaceful.
I like how the ice causes changes in the reflective pattern, yet the reflection of the pole is perfectly straight.
Gorgeous scenery and the reflection is fantastic to see in that water.
Have a great New Year!

What an idyllic place:)
Beautiful reflections on ice and water.
makes for a nice photo!
Brrr! Looks cold!
I can feel the cold!
Unfrozen water...green grass...sunshine... What kind of winter is this?
Probably not warm enough to go swimming, though. Right?
A lovely scene!
Well... winter has only just begun...

Another super reflection!
Ice and sunny light, what a delicious mix! Thank you for your nice comment today, and a Happy New Year to you and your family and friends!
Lovely and not yet cold so cold as to freeze the river. A good day for a walk.
Cold places warm my heart. :-)
Nice colors, EG.
Definitely not for standing on!
Great picture and it's refreshing to see cool weather. It's supposed to be 80F here this weekend.
I presume you were at the other side of the lake and not in a boat,
The Russian boat that was trapped in the ice is not free in the Southern ocean.
The reflections in this photo are beautiful, but I'm glad we don't have ice forming on our rivers quite yet.
But no snow! Happy New Year!
pretty....
Nice touches of red, white, and blue in this photo.
Brrrr....a beautiful , cold place!
Happy New Year!

What a warm and inviting spot...and the icy water is gorgeous. I would love to won that little house...so cozy looking. genie
What a great place! It is a marvelous backdrop for the lake and its reflection.
Nice reflections.
Nothing like having a lake front retreat. At least, that's what I hear.
Ice in all its different forms is mystical. I love the sheen in your image; picking up traces of the red cottage.
First time visitor.
Crisp and clear Canadian winter air, I can feel it :-).
Happy New Year! Looking forward to many new photos from your camera in 2012.
Reminds me of the traditional style homes in Sweden with siding placed vertically and the red color!
Happy New Year!
I love how the red reflects
Happy New Year
What an amazing shot!
