Today is March 1 and City Daily Theme Day. This month's theme is ELECTRICITY.
Usually I try to avoid wires in my photos but sometimes they actually add something positive to a photo.

I too do not like having wires in photos but here you really made them work for you. I guess the secret is to make them the main subject of the photo. Well done.
Hmmm... The sky does it all! We had a great big red ball of fire yesterday evening but... no electrical lines in the sky!

Oh, these are lovely...and I think wires are just part of life and kind of like a lot of them...though there are certain times when I really wish they weren't where there.

Now that is an electric sunset! Gorgeous.
It is usually pretty hard to make electrical line look pretty, but with that gorgeous red sunset I think you accomplished the impossible. :)

These are gorgeous. Not only the sunsets and the light, but your framing of the lines and poles, very industrialist meets romantic.
I think the lines are interesting, like the first (closer) photo the best.

I usually don't like power lines in sky photos, but your composition, especially in the first and third photos, cause them to add to the beauty of the sky.

I live in an urban area it is hard to take a pic without wires so I don't worry about them too much any more.

I was in total agreement with you about wires in sky shots. I avoid them all the time... until a brilliant landscape photographer I knw posted an amazing shot utilising the electricity wires perfectlt. I have since changed my opinion but I am yet to capture a shot like that worthy of posting.
