really beautiful, i especailly like the second shot, God's art is what it is. the only ice we see is in our freezer. ha ha. beautiful.
it bothers us because we are early risers, and go to bed at 8, like right now yesterday was full daylight, and now we have an hour before it gets light. we get up at 4 am and go to bed at 8 so this is misery for us. I came out of walmart yesterday at 7 and the sun was up, also we go to the gym at 5:30 each week day and it has been nice driving home at 6;30 in daylight, now we will drive in the dark.
I know we are very much in the minority. I really just wish they would pick one and leave it, like AZ does. no changes to adjust to.
but since THEY never listen to ME. I will just deal with it and fuss about it until Bob threatens to disown me. I say things for weeks, like no wonder we aren’t hungry, it’s REALLY only 11 not 12.... drives him nuts
I've not thought about ice being photogenic; maybe that's 'cause I haven't seen any lately. I know it's rather slippery. With my luck I'd run out to photograph the photogenic ice and fall on my proverbial you-know-what and drop my camera in the nearest pond.
You take the ice pictures and I'll look at them. OK? :-)
It seems that over there it's still very cold! Over here not that much but we still wait anxiously for some sunny days...

Ice is too darn treacherous for me to see its beauty, but I'll take another look.

Yes, I was sorry to.. I wa sorry when most of the white lovely snow melted first time, in the end of February.. that was too early.. But now after having felt spring coming around, I don't miss the snow.. but I don't know more lovely than snow and ice.. :)
I agree the ice and snow is photogenic but sure you will find other subjects to wow us with.

I agree with you when it come to the photogenicity of ice - you have shown it. Even so, I'm glad that is gone here :-)
PS Thank you for the comment. The crow in the photo is called Corvus cornix in Latin, maybe best known by the English name Hooded Crow. Very common in "The old World" :-)
Who knew ice was so photogenic? Living in S CA I don't get the chance to experience it much... cool shots!

Yes, ice is photogenic, but open water is also photogenic but a lot more enjoyable for wimps like me.

I walked TessaDog in Eldred King Woodlands today, or at least I tried to.... too much ice on the trails, it was downright slippery. It may be photogenic, but I don't like walking on it.
Yes the ice is so photogenic, and i feel so deprived in this lifetime for not having seen it yet. We only have the dry and the wet seasons and my few travels abroad are normally coincided with spring. But aside from looking at the snow and ice i dont want to experience the long cold.
The ice is pretty, but I'll. Be glad for some spring flowers and greenery! Pretty shots. :)

I love Sandra's rant about the time change. I feel much the same. I don't set the clocks back for weeks and confuse everybody.
I love these...the lavender that comes through is lovely!
Ice is photogenic, but spring brings different interesting opportunities.
