I've never seen a bird tagged that way. Usually there's a band around their foot. Maybe it's attached to a wing (?) since its feet are always underwater?

This is such a gorgeous swan! It's tagged so it's cared for..Fantastic capture!
Numbered swan? I'm a little lost here... But anyway I hope it means something good for the gorgeous critter.
God bless you!

Very elegant.
Beautiful...
i have never seen a wild swan, these are so beautiful. i have seen the domestic ones in the gardens here. great shot
So lovely! Beautiful! =) But-- I have never seen a mark on "the wing side" of a bird..
Beautiful photography. I'm happy to trumpet your skills!
Glorious!
There are a pair of swans on the reservoir here too, but too far away to see if they have a number tag.
I wonder what blog by fermentation means? :-)
They are gorgeous...what stately water fowl. Are those tags for following them on their sides? Great close ups. genie
A beautiful bird! THey're so regal.
So it's banded? Such a beautiful bird, so regal.
Lovely swan. Possibly a friend to my Mute? (he was found at LasallePark)
Ah, 907! I wondered why it said LOG on its wing. But I can see well enough that it's a beautiful creature.
The ones we see that are banded, have a band around their neck...btw, these are wonderful pictures. I am a bit envious.
such a beauty.
I hope we never see the day that corporate sponser's logos appear on our tagged and numbered wildlife like race cars. (;^0)
Got me too - I thought it said "LOG", but then it's still early here.
What a shame the tag is quite so obvious, beautiful photos though.
Lovely shots! Swans ares so beautiful.

Swans are so elegant, but I hear they are very messy and very hostile birds. Like bigger and more hostile Canada geese.
Gorgeous!
So so beautiful!
Greetings
Gorgeous shot. We have many of them here on a farm field in Courtenay.
I love swans, but there are none in the area. Sigh. I will just have to look at yours...
I dare say, I heard a Trumpet and saw one too!
Bless your lucky charms! Those pics have a shimmer of green! ;-)
Such beautiful creatures!
Graceful and lovely.
These are wonderful pictures of the swan.
So beautiful!
And with such a large tag!
Beautiful!
#907 is certainly a an elegant animal.
I'm wondering why the tag needs to be so big.
Great shots in the sunshine!
What a beautiful bird, and what beautiful shots!
