Last year's tough old tendrils and this year's new growth
VINES: In spring, not just the weather is full of contrasts.
Twisted VINE
This old grapevine reaches for the sky by winding it's way to the top.
Black-eyed Susan VINE
The black-eyed Susan is a vine I am looking forward to seeing in a month or two but...
Taking over!
this is a vine I would not to see growing on my house!

Cool idea for the theme and beautiful pictures!

This was a great post!
Nice work, I am really glad to be 1 of several visitants on this awful site : D
Vines, both beautiful (first picture) and destructive (last picture) Great examples.

Cool shots. I think spring is finally here in Toronto. My tree is getting green! Can't wait for summer. :)
I wouldn't either, but it makes for a great photo tho.
The first vine bring thoughts of good wine. The vines on the antenna, well, I agree they are unwelcome. I have to go "find" my lamp post from beneath vines very soon!
i love vines, and these are pretty. i even like the ones on top of the house, to look at but not on my house. it is vine hacking season here.
Ah, I'm so sorry to see that you're all tied up in knots today! :-)
Your top photo is so sculptural. The black eyed susan vine does not look like what I think of as black eyed susan - beautiful flower.
Wonder what kind of TV reception they get on that!
Love that first shot...like you I would not be letting the vine grow on my house.
these are great. i love the tendrils in the first shot.
I too love flowering vines but they can be so invasive. It's a constant job keeping them in tow.
Chyba trochę za wysokie sobie pozwoliła rosnąć. Pozdrawiam.
Probably a little too high let yourself grow. Yours.
It is so good to see the growth emerging on the grapevines.
Cool post EG!
I love the twisted vine photo, must rush out and take some like that of my grape vines. :)
Crikey, that is one aggressive vine!
I love to see twisted vines and new growth appearing but that last one is too powerful!
Great idea with the alphabet theme.
Great shots. I would not like that vine on my house either.
Vines are so tenacious! I don't envy whoever has to climb your roof to take down your vine :)
I really like that last picture, but that vine has really taken over!
I love your twisted vine. It looks like a rope almost. Beautiful photos of different vines!
That chimney is having a bad hair day!
I love clinging vines...unless they're human:)
I love the "black eyed Susan" vine. My daughter got me one that looked something like that one year for my birthday.
All of your photos are wonderful, but I really like the picture of the twisted grape vine. The texture and detail are wonderful.
gorgeous photos, i especially like the close up of the grape vine. my husband has been doing battle with some ivy vines that are taking over one of our trees. to date, it is a draw, neither is winning, but as the tree is still thriving, at least we are making inroads to saving it.
I love any kind of clinging vine that is not destructive. They look so beautiful to me.
=)
Yes, really delicious compositions with vines, lovely colors.
Lovely v post! I love your take on the world...
Goodness, that vine is gonna do damage if it hasn't already. I love your photos!
Your shot of the top shoot is my fave♫♪
Great idea for 'V'. I think I'd be moving out of the house with the vine from Mars....too spooky.
I just love the old tendrils on the grape vines. These are great shots!
What wonderful photos, the vine shots are really stunning. The taking over shot however, no that is scary :-).
Nice take on V!
Wonderful vine photos! I love that black-eyed susan vine. I've seen that before.
Love your firs pic of vines! I agree, I hope that would never happen on my house either!
Thanks for stopping by and look forward to *seeing* you again!
Great post – so apt.
Have a great weekend too.
I would not want to take the vines off that antennae!
Yikes to the (probably not so) dead vines crawling all over the house!
Vine is a great V word and you got some great shots!
Great post! I am not a viney kinda gal! We lived in a house that had grape vines. Pretty in bloom, not so much in the winter time!
Oh my... I have never seen anything like that!! =O
:)
These are Very intereting photographs...
I loVe Vines....
Wonderful post for the letter "V"!
Thanks for linking.
