Don't see many orioles down this way...fine photos of a gorgeous creature. We have mostly meadowlarks (at least that's what I think they are) and they do sing a lot. We also have a bunch of Canadian gooses who must have lost their way 'cause they want to stay even though it's getting quite warm. :-)
Hello there!! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Love your oriole shots....very nice birds to see in the landscape and we do have them around in the desert:) Look forward to reading and seeing your photography! Chris at Las Aventuras
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

He's certainly showing his spring colors!
The picture is great, I'll bet it was even better with the sound effects.

I can almost hear it across "the pond" :-)
You really got that very well in the first shot.
Goodness, the oriole is so lovely. It's good his song matches his livery:-)
Of course he was! They are in First Place in MLB. hahaha

Oh! This bird is just beautiful, with the red orange color! =) And I also find the shape of the leaves beautiful, so green and full of life! :)

One of my favorite birds but no matter what I do, I can't attract them to my yard. Beautiful shots!
They are a pretty bird. One spring we had one that knocked on our windows for about four days. Not sure what that was all about.
A lovely way to start my day with your gorgeous photos. Have a great day.
A very colourful bird who is clearly enjoying the nice weather. Great shot!

Great shot of the singing! Birds are hard to get close to generally...

Lovely bird - we don't have them here, but do get their "kissing cousin" the Bullock's

That is one happy bird!
I am a baseball fan, so I know about orioles from the Baltimore team. But, I have never seen an oriole in real life. Weird.
What amazing colors.
This is the first time I've seen this bird! What a beauty!
Incredible shots!!

Beautiful bird, good capture.
Caught in mid song! Perfect timing. I usually only catch a glimpse of them in springtime.
Thanks for your comment on my anniversary post! This oriole is just stunning! I bet his song was glorious too!
His bright orange feathers really pop of your photos.
I put out stuff for orioles but so far no luck...
