Very colorful. I think we here in Texas would call those yellowjackets. Our wasps are either red or black - and both are deadly. I carry an Epipen but have never had occasion to use it in over 40 years! You might say I'm VERY careful, because we have lots of stinging insects here!
My humming bird feeder has been taken down due to some back yard construction, but that didn't stop the H B to come looking for his breakfast this morning. It buzzed right by my ear.... I had no idea HBs are so LOUD!!!
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

They are too happy to realize who they are.
At least someone is benefiting from your feeder -- I'm gettin' nothin'.

Looks like my feeders most of the time. Everybody gets some but the hummingbirds.
Just flitting by and buzzing around...nice of you to provide liquid refreshment!
Ours has lots of honeybees, but that's okay. I like seeing the bees. Beautiful butterfly!
This is a really neat device to lure and photograph butterflies! Great shot, and you even got a wasp!
