Christmas in July?
You're correct. This ICICLE photo is from my archives. It sure has been hot here - and maybe where you are too - so I thought you might like to see something cool and refreshing. Way cool, don't you think?

What? Too cool? Well, what about this?

lol, why not? My family celebrated an extra christmas in may. Thatis because my granddaughter came home. She stydies in Hawaii and was sorry she missed the real one. :)
Oh Thank you that seemed to work, I am sitting here with fleece on:) It may be the cold north wind blowing but I am sure the photos helped. B
great I post! and great shots, too.
I don't mind the heat, but I wish we'd get some rain. My lawn is so dry. :(
I like your icy shots!
Great shots, we don't need icicles at the moment, we are having a very cook summer in No.CA
Darla
More chill please. It is too hot here.
Ahhhh....I feel so much better. Thank you!
Wow! Even the lights are sweating out the heat?
Yeah, right! I know you northerners. As soon as it gets warm, you cry for winter. When winter comes you cry about the cold! Sheesh! ;-)
But, the icicles warming in the sun is a nice respite from the heat!
Nice to see a cool picture! I am boiling here!
I delightful sight for this very hot Floridian.
Thanks, I feel the chill.
ahhh...
Those iciles look pretty darn refreshing this time of year. Lovely shots.
Nice cool pictures. But it didn't help to cool me down. It's been way too hot here and we need rain.
It's hard to remember winter!
Aah, I needed that on this hot day (one of those when heat waves shimmer off the asphalt, ick). That sunset shot is just perfect right now - thank you!
I would love to be feeling some of this now...though I am not really wanting snow...it sure is appealing.
Very cool. I could use some of that weather right now!!!
Zrobiło mi się zimno na widok sopli lodu. Pozdrawiam.
I felt cold at the sight of icicles. Yours.
Actually, as much as I love winter and Christmas, right now I'd like summer!
Wonderfully cool and refreshing pictures in the midst of this heat!
Oh yeah, winter is sounding good right now!
It's very cooling, and refreshing to see.
We could certainly use some of those icicles right now for sure!! Great photos!!
oh YEA ice
bring on ice, snow..anything ....:)
Thanks for helping me feel somewhat cooler -- at least until I go to work out in the yard again.
Thanks I needed that....too hot for me this summer!!
Very cooling! My husband discovered a cooler from Walmart called a "Froggie Tod" or "Chill Pad" or something like that. It's one of those damp towels that keeps its cool even in hot outside temps.
I love the heat. Great photos!
I would love to pick one and suck on it!
These are great. Love the second shot.
I like your thinking:) Is it bad that I haven't taken down the solar christmas tree lights off of our living christmas tree?:)
it was quite refreshing to view icicles on this 100 degree day! cool i post!
Love your icicles, Ms. E.G. I would have never thought about icicles for the "I" word in July here in the Northern Hemisphere. (I did think of 'ice cubes' though.)

I love icicles...and have photographed them a zillion times. Thanks for the cool images...pun intended. :)
I would enjoy a quick trip there to cool off. Or pick off one of those icicles and let it melt on my forehead. I'm beginning to wish for September, which is unusual since Summer was always my favorite time of the year. I think this year it will be fall.
So pretty to look at!
Tres cool EG, do you guys do Christmas in July? We do here in Perth, well not everybody but there are many Christmas in July parties.
Oh my, not ready for cold weather. It's just around the corner though out here in the mountains...
lovely shots!
Bet there's a lot of folks who would love a day or two of chilly weather...
Great Idea for the letter I♫ Cool
The only icicles we see in my piece of Florida are the electrified variety that appear on many houses over the Christmas holidays. That is just right for me--I do not miss freezing temperatures or shoveling snow and icicles are definitely an indication of too much cold weather! Still, I'm sure the idea of crisp winter temperatures is appealing to people in heat-stricken parts of the country.
I can wait for winter and make do with a popsicle for now :D
definitely refreshing! and pretty! Thanks!
Hooray! You alleviated my current hot flash!
What a lovely capture! I like the colorful tiny reflections in the glittering ice!
Thanks for an incredible share this week!
A+
