Oh thank you for capturing this for us to see (I rise early for work reasons, but otherwise tend toward night owl habits). It's so peaceful and serene, a great way to take my midday break :)

This is breathtaking! Looks like a little bit of fog off in the distance.
It's usually the best time of day, so I'm told by those who try it more regularly than I do. It certainly paid off for those two beautiful shots.
I think about getting up early, but then I stop thinking.... ;-) These are wonderful photos of that beautiful pre-sunrise time.

Misty mornings are my favorite kind! Nicely done! What a lovely countryside.
But I've got to tell you that we don't have mosquitoes in Florida. The ones here, unlike their human counterparts, are from Ontario. They summerbirds, not snowbird.
And you know, of course, that the mosquito is the Minnesota state bird!

Hard to say which I prefer - the colour is wonderful in the first, but the reflection in the second is so appealing...
