Park Bridge

Bridge over river in Newmarket park

By noon yesterday, the sun had broken through the clouds making it a nice day to go for a walk. As you can see, we still have some snow but soon it will be gone. There's still ice on much of the river, but here mallards and geese were swimming freely.

I am linking to Good Fences HERE.

The bridge is like those here and one in the park in the adjacent town. I have crossed them several times. I am guessing they are an item one orders from a catalog of bridges since they all seem to be the same.

The bridge does look nice for walking and stopping to look at the birds. Wonder how soon that snow will be gone.

Oh I forgot to mention:
The Amtrak goes through Stanwood morning and night and the freight goes through several times---up to Canada I think. the passenger train goes to Seattle (south) and to Vancouver, B.C. north

Stanwood hasn't had a train station since 1974 so it was nice to have a new one in 2009---I don't know how much it is used but nice to know it is there.

Dearest EG CameraGirl;
Beautiful photo and scene ♡♡♡ Canada must have a bit long winter; I wish I could visit. Today, rainy and windy; poor cherry blossoms (^^;)
