Now that is a very fancy gate:) Hug B
Very picturesque!
I love this. Its beautiful and yet not pretentious.
that is an interesting combination! i like both styles, but not sure they go well together. :)
thanks for linking in! beautiful place!
Very peaceful scene.
Lovely scene. I like the rail fence and the ornate gate with the carriage lights. It's sort of like the difference between denim and silk, not sure the two go together. But if the owner likes it, that's all that matters.
Ah, what a beautiful fence and gate. Love the mass of trees in the background.
That is a lovely and serene scene.
Interesting that the rather ordinary fence has such an ornate gate.
I wonder where the gates lead to?
That is a nice looking fence! Love the gate!
Very elegant!
May be a compromise between husband and wife...fancy gate... durable fence and it's a great photo.
Looks like they are trying to impress the neighbours with the fancy gate but forgot about the ordinary looking fence.
Nice-looking fence and beautiful gate!

That is a beautiful and tranquil picture. I like the two lamps on the gate too.
A nice gate, not too overdone. :)
Good for you for stopping. Sometimes, we never get around to it.
Great scenery but the gate/fence combo is a little odd.

Beautiful scene. Looks like there should be fancy horses munching grass in those fields.
They're just saving up to have the fence done.
Beautiful image. Looks like a peaceful place to live or work.
Thanks for stopping by to view my first Good Fences post.
A mix of rustic and new.
That must lead to a fine place, EG!
Quite an elaborate gate for that rustic fence.
Very nice - it is grand!
All you need are a few palm trees and this could be our neighorhood in Ocala. :) Lovely scene.
I'm jealous of all that green.
And the gate is so defensive with the spears and all, while the wooden fence could by climbed easily by a six year old. Must have been a good gate salesman at the Home Depot.
soooo many fences, and we are all noticing them now!!
a beautiful image, nothing ordinary about any fence, now that we NEED them!!!
A bit confusing..fancy gate, plain fencing. Wondering.....
That is a beautiful entrance to their property! Pretty view, too.
Such beautiful countryside surrounding you...
Oh my gosh....I could live there!!! Beautiful.
Very scenic and peaceful ... Sorry you have to go to the Hospital to visit your husband ... hope everything is okay.

Lovely!
'tis a nice mix!
A wonderful fence, and all of that green is just beautiful!
A very pretty and pastoral scene, interesting mix of materials here but they work. Great shot!
So glad you were able to stop for the shot. It's a neat fence and the gate is so fancy.
That is one elegant gate! Love it!
Great combination of the old and new. Nicely done. Trust all is going well with your husband.
I like that whole scene!
The fancy gate is lovely, and the setting is awesome. Beautiful light, and the ordinary fence is so pretty.
Great picture of elegant fence with beautiful nature♪♪♪
And I love your sweet yellow goldfinch of previous post.
Thank you SO much for your sweet words for me, finally slowly getting better♡♡♡
Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Nice gate, now show us the house!! I've been away from blogging for a while (pure laziness I think, but now have got my enthusiasm back. Best wishes to your husband. South Lake is a great hospital, was there for a couple of things last year.
It is an odd combination, isn't it? You had your usual great eye to see it.
Really fancy - love the post lamps too :D)
Lovely fence and gate. it looks like it might lead up to a large residence.
you are right, such a fancy gate for a simple fence. I hope your husband's health is improving.
They certainly do have contrasting styles. Very pretty combination though.
This is a soothing and lovely place to wander by on the way to the hospital!
You do have a fine way of noticing the details.
A sight worth the halt to capture!
A fancy gate with a rustic fence. Nice one!
