I could spend hours in a place like that!!! This photo reminds me that I should get back to work photographing all the stuff I brought from my childhood home last year...
I too would have been tempted to get the heater. Fun stuff. I just--a few months ago--opened a corner in an antique/collectible shop. Fun to try to get rid of some stuff I have had for ages. The store I am in is called Ella Bella Vintage finds and is in Conway. It is a fun endeavor. MB
It's great fun to wander through these kinds of places, although it isn't often I buy anything. Don't see anything in this particular collection that I'd want, either. But I'd certainly go look!
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Interesting find Camera Girl. It's been a long time since I have seen a trunk.
Reminds me some of my old footlocker from college. Only it's in far better shape than my footlocker ever was. Now that was rubbish! :-)
Interesting stuff. My niece would probably turn the trunk into artwork and sell it.
i guess the blue item - is a heater? i admit you found some interesting finds. i wonder if you took anything home?
happy week. ( :
I think the little blue stove is the most interesting item in your photo.
There's sometimes a difference between what we need and what we want ! :)
Love teh kerosene heater! Haven't seen one of those in years. Thanks for linking up!
I have a small heater like the one pictured. It was used in a ice-fishing shanty in the Adirondack Mountains years ago. Tom The Backroads Traveller
I rather like that blue stove.
Thank goodness people identified the blue item! I was wondering...
Always tempting looking at this stuff.
i want the stove and the kettle..
I don't 'need' any of them either but there's a couple of things I'd like. :)
Okay, I see that Sandra already has dibs on the stove. lol Great photo!
Love that blue stove!

perusing is fun. :)
Nope, nothing I could use there. But it is surprising the things I see people buy at my flea market. Makes me wonder what their homes must look like.
Treasure or thrash, a thin line difference.
I like the stove and the trunk, but I would just look. I've got so much junk around here already..I'd probably do best to stay away from sales.
I would have been tempted to buy that antique heater!

How perfect for the meme! Love the trunk, but the blue heater (?) is a treasure.
You just never know what treasure you may find!
i think i need all of that stuff haha
Ah yes, it never hurts to look! :)
Hey, that's a great collection. My kind of place!

I like the look of these junk items, especially the trunk.
Call it what you want to but that is the perfect witch's cauldron... Hmmmmm, I wonder what I'll put into it... :-)
I enjoy doing this too, and you never know what you might find. I found many of my vintage cameras this way.
I'm a sucker for old trunks. I think I'd go for that one.
I do like the look of that little, blue stove.
several history lessons found in this one...it's just great !
What neat, interesting-looking stuff!

What a great old kerosene heater; I haven't seen one of that type in ages... and it's in such great condition!
Really great tresures hidden there. I like that brown chest/coffin. Looks very nice.

I'm not usually a "thrifty" kind of person, but I just found an amazing mirror I want to use when I photograph my nephew's wedding. Love this shot.
I would be right there with you. You just never know when you'll see something you really want.
what a fun shot. We don't have any antique stores in our little community. I've often wished we did.
