HI EG I do think she is flirting. She has a very naughty look! Great first shot.
Beautiful...
this is a first for me. i think the female is prettier than the male in this bird.. they are beautiful and i love the to row far right.. so gorgeous
Last week I saw a male Red-wing blackbird with no head feathers. I have heard of this happening to Cardinals but not to theses guys. I assume it is just a moulting process.
Pretty shots of the RW Blackbirds. And the butterfly is gorgeous.. Pretty photos and mosaic!
Wonderful ca[tires of those beautiful birds, enhanced by your collage of blossoms!
All nature sings!
lovely nature here and I think the female r/w is very attractive too

july is just beautiful where you are!! i have never seen/noticed the female red winged so close up. she is a beauty!!!
Beautiful shots, EG. Yes, she does seem to have something of a flirtatious streak going on...
Gorgeous!
What a wonderful surprise. These are so up close and gorgeous, they look like painted portraits!
I agree! She looks like she's up for a date. Love these birds. My eyes now begin to shift towards the Tricolored Blackbirds in California. I love blackbirds. This year we had beautiful views of the nesting Brewer's, Yellow-headed, and Red-winged. Great shots of the female. I always love beginning birders the first time they see the female....they don't believe that's she's a red-winged:) Happy birding!
You've gotten some marvelous photos of the beauty of mid-July. I especially like your portrait of the male Red-winged Blackbird.
These shots are BEAUTIFUL!!!
you are definitely and artist - and i am lifted by the view . . thanks, i needed that.
She is a little flirt I think! Saw my first Monarch of the season today.
I love all these shots and the closeup of the RWBB female is wonderful. She does indeed look like a flirt. Who'd have thought?!?

She is flirting for sure! Love the male shot, too. Beautiful flowers!
I adore the last shot!
Wildlife at its best!
Oh yes, she looks like making herself cute deliberately♡♡♡ Since I had friends like you, it was SUCH a surprise that how female and male look different, as I've noticed your Red-winged Blackbird here, too:-) And enjoyed the beautiful flowers.
Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
