Lawn ornament
This old carriage is looking a tad worn but looks stunning on this side lawn just the same. It may be an Amish or Mennonite buggy as some live in the area where this photo was taken.
Good for a ride?
The bike needs some TLC but otherwise it looks like it could still be used. One speed, though!

Oh I love your wheels especially the buggy:) Hug B
Love the buggy, now all I n=need is the horse!!
The old carriage is a gem! Love all the old wheels and the lantern! Great finds!
Marvelous photos of the different wheels. Your first shot is my favorite.
Best regards, Synnöve
I'm imagining that buggy was kept in immaculate condition and housed in a barn when it was still being used. Beautiful piece of workmanship.
That old buggy looks well worn.
A wheely fun post.
what a pretty lawn ornament.. i would like to sit in it myself... if i could climb that high. love the collectibles to
I would love to ride in that buggy!
Hey, a one-speed bike took me many a mile. And even when three-speeds and 10-speeds became common fare I always thought they were a lot of trouble to concentrate on how you ride. Give me a one-speed any day!
i love all these wheels!
enjoy all the old wheels. ( :
Great wheels. I'd like to take a ride in that old buggy.

It is a beautiful buggy, it just needs a nice little bay to harness up to it!
oh, great finds!
You really captured the beauty of your picks. We were staying in an Amish themed motel over the weekend and a drunk driver ran over an old buggy parked in front. And the skid marks ran right up to a room!
You've got a nice selection of wheels here. I really like the old carriage. It's worn but beautiful.
You found some very nice "old sutff". Bikes with only one gear are really popular in Berlin (and probably other cities) although I think you need at least 3 gears (to help up and down any hills!).
What a cool old carriage!
Neat old treasures!
I like bicycles like that in their unrestored state, natural patina and rust.
I love the 'wheels' but it sure isn't 'rubbish' just well used stuff. MB
Good looking rubbish, EG!
Absolutely love that buggy! and your processing is great !
Keep those wheels a turning! Tom The Backroads Traveller
Some great photos with great history.
Great wheels post today. The buggy isn't owned by an Amish family, or it would be in top condition. Love you last shot of antique wheels.
Nice whells! I really like the first photo!

that was wonce a very fine carriage. Lovely seat to sit on also.
That old carriage is amazing. It'd be neat to do family portraits in or around it.
I like the old buggy and all the wheels..They do not look like rubbish to me! Great shots.
Wonderful shots! I like old things and you show their history!
The Amish Buggy is awesome. I so envy their lifestyle in so many ways.
I'll get to my rubbish post tomorrow. I must say, I really, REALLY enjoyed yours.
What great finds!
Especially that carriage.
Love it!
The patina of age - wish I could look as quaint!
A delightful series: bet that carriage has some tales to tell!
Always love your posts, EG, and today my favorite is the buggy!! Perfect!! Hope you have a great week! Enjoy!
I never seem to have rubbish to show! Such great photos!

Another great find.. Thanks
A beautiful two-seater. Old'ish yes, but a great find and pic too!
Don't ever let anyont tell you that old isn't beautiful ... you sure proved it in these pictures and it goes for all forms of life too. Great series of pictures ...

Beautiful photos of wheels. I like the theme, too.
