Lazy Summer Days

 Reading in the shade

How  relaxing to sit in the shade with a good book or

 Fishing on Lake Scugog

fish on the bank of a lake or river. So far August has been lovely here: not too hot and not too cold. Just right.

Bee on Russian Sage

Bees have no time for leisure though!

That first photo is a magnificent evocation of lazy summer days. Here the weather has suddenly reverted to its November mode; grey skies and bursts of rain. Enjoy the sun while you can.

So picturesque images and so well selected to illustrate the title of "lazy summer days"!! how I wished to have the chance to see for myself such beautiful "sights"... Lovely!! Have a nice week ahead!

The top photo is extra special but I don't think I'd last too long sitting on a tree trunk!

Your first shot is like a Monet!

Humid and windy here, I hope we'll see the sun again someday!

That first shot is quite artsy. Love it! And the bee and Russian sage is gorgeous!

Beautiful shots!

Our weather tends to be the same as yours, just a few hours later. Aside from a couple of hot days here and there, we haven't really had a true heat wave this summer.

Those two photos really speak "Summertime...and the livin' is easy".

That first click should be the cover of a very fine book!

Nothing better than a good book and quiet solitude, except maybe to also be in a beautiful setting. Love to fish too. Have a great Sunday!

Beautiful images of a warm, comfortable summer's day. Fishing is the perfect excuse to just sit quietly and take in the view.

I have not read the other comments...was going to but then thought I am just going to say this whether it has been said a dozen times before or not...that first shot is magnificent. It could be a painting...
