Hi Jenny,
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and demystifying the butterfly, which I did not to identify.
The butterflies you have posted are so pretty. I did not know that there was such a thing as Question Mark Butterfly.
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
That is simply beautiful - and I would have no idea what kind it was unless it had been a Monarch. :-)
The things we learn here!
Hi Dear!

Is that a real thing? A question mark butterfly? I love it!!!
These are beautiful shots! I am no good at all on identifying butterflies. You even got a beautiful shadow on the first one! The antenna on the second one are really impressive, too. I am already missing summer...
My first thought was Question Mark! As I tell my husband (often), I love to be right. :) This is a beauty! So glad you were able to get this shot.
I've never seen a question mark butterfly. Those markings are lovely! Great shots EG. I saw a butterfly this morning in Washington DC and it was a dark orange color but it never settled for me to tell what it was. Fun to see it though. I haven't had a lot of success photographing butterflies this year. Yours are fantastic!
LOVE them...:)JP
Wow, that is really interesting. I thought sideways ? for sure. I like your captures too, you are good at catching them!
Amazing shot!
Great shots and without a question it's an interesting butterfly.

Beautiful specimans.
You must be sweating doing this shoot if more than 10 minutes !
I am always amazed at how much you know about the natural world.
What a lovely butterfly - and such a great name too!
Beautiful pictures! I don't know the answer, I have both never seen before
I didn't know the answer to that question either. Interesting facts.. Lovely capture of the butterfly.
Hi Felicia,
The white dot beside the white C on the underwing makes the butterfly a question mark. :))
Those are great photos and a marvelous question. (Too bad I didn't know the answer!)
It looks more moth than butterfly but is beautiful still.
Lovely butterflies!
What great shots! What does the Comma butterfly look like?
The underside of the wings are Quite beautiful too!
Here, Butterfly. Come, Butterfly. That's a good girl. Now turn over so I can see under you wing. [actually I couldn't really see the one you are showing-- ;)] Sorry. But it was a fun post, thank you.
..
Stunning shots...I'll be more aware of the markings thanks to you♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/question-mark-butterfly/
