As averse as I am to bluejays and their hair-ripping ways, I have to admit that they are handsome creatures and that these are stunning captures.

We have lots of blue jays here but they never stay long enough in one place to get a photo - at least for me. Maybe all your snow slows them down. These are super shots.

Oh my, these are WONDERFUL! The flying shot is amazing, his wing tips are just touching the snow and the wings are fanned out so beautifully! And the first shot is so perfect, I love his eye! A splendid series!

I love that first shot. The tilt of the Blue Jay's head makes it exceptional.

Your jays are much showier than ours on the west coast. The colors are gorgeous and those wings look like stained glass!
