Mount Albert firehouse rebuild
Some of you may remember that in February 2014 the Mount Albert Firehouse burned down. It's in the process of being rebuilt. This photo was taken last fall.
I am intrigued by the angles and shapes the boards make as they cross each other. And I also like the shadows.

Another version (sorry, I cannot remember what I did)
A closeup, very closeup

Fire at the firehouse? Ironic. That wood would go up fast.
i have a photo of a church with rafters like this and they are fascinating. i like all 3 edits and can't decide which best.
Your edit of this picture is very creative !
This is mycontribution
♥ly greetings from germany
All those angles are great.
Oh Boy, these are stunning. I love what you did with this and it doesn't at all surprise me that you would see art in rafters ... Very creative.

I really like the different versions of the rafters that you've shared with us. Very well done.
I like the way you have played with the shot. I like the B & W image and the next one.
What a great image for creating an abstract. The straight lines and geometric shapes hold the design together and the overlapping created more interesting shapes. I like them all, but I'n partial to the B&W this time, even though I usually go for color.
Whatever you did with it, it's beautiful!
really like the b&w!
P is for pretty stuff. I need to find huge pinecones like that one. I might fail though. Everything is smaller in Europe!
love the 2 pinky photos!!
Nice series
that´s very nice steps along the way to macro. Today My favourite is the third one. I like the soft colors and the lines in it.
These would be perfect for framing and putting up on a wall!
I would have taken a picture from that building also :)
I prefer the black & white version, there my eyes can follow the lines better without looking at the beautiful colour of the fresh wood :))
Have a beautiful day

Those angles and shadows are great.. Beautiful digital art! That meme gets more and more intriguing!
I think the black and White does it for me
this is neat what you can do with photos
It looks to be a big firehouse! I like your playing!
Nice black and white photo!
Love how you can turn such a simple, commonplace thing into a work of art with photography and photo editing.
These rafters gave you loads of material, EG.
It is all very interesting. And I love that you can't remember what you did. I can never remember everything I did because I end up trying a bunch of different things and sometimes combining them.
Super way to process a simple structure♪
Your B&W is especially cool.

Gorgeous pine cones and patterns.
Love your patterns again. You must be a top pattern hunter.
Great images!
Nice edits! My favourite is the third one - love the lines and colours.
I really like the black and white edit.
