Frenchman's Bay railing and shadow #1
These photos were taken on March 17, a sunny but cold day. The shadows were dark and clear.

Even with the sun, it looks chilly. Maybe because it is so cold here in NC and I have cold on the brain!

It does look cold, but we do have some sun -- not a lot, but it's still 50 degrees! i do love the weather we're having this year!! Terrific shots for the day as always!!
Love the stairs/dockicture..
good lines.
I especially like the third one. I think I'm taken by the weathered wood.
Just when will it be the day to launch the boat or lean over the railing with blue and ice-free water below and warm temps above. It seems as if it's nearly summer in Denver and Dallas - how about back east in Canada and the US? Nice shadows at any rate :)
great shots. Freezing cold here today wasn't it?
Lovely tight curving shadow from the railings and gorgeous shadow pattern on the stairs.
I also like that weathered wood and the shadow in photo #3.
Good shadows like today. Cool shots, EG!
It does look chilly.
Railings always make for such great shadows. I hope spring pays you a visit soon! Lovely pics.
I would love to bring a chair and just sit there.
I love how you capture the play of light, shadow, and line, but BBBRRRR!
Very interesting (and creative) shadow captures.
Oh, brrr!! It still looks cold there-in spite of the warm sun and shadows!
Love the line and shadows in these shots.
Looks like it's getting slightly warmer, at least!

I love the shadows in that last shot!
I like the lines from the railings. Great shadow shots. Happy Sunday!
I do like those railings and shadows. Nice work!
shadows are good, that means you have sunshine... and that bent railing is really cool.
It does feel chilly!
A very nice series of shots - excellent compositional values (does that sound fotolosopheric?)
Heh, heh!
Our blue herons are year round birds. In fact, we have Canadian gooses here year round, too. Even when we want them to go up north and poop!
