Footbridge over Duffins Creek, Ajax
Sunshine, shadows and reflections - what you can't see (or hear) are the workmen repairing the bridge out of the photo to the left. Monday was a cool but lovely day here.
A few weeks ago, I saw a list of fill-ins in on Rose's blog. I copied the list and filled in the blanks for the first five here. Next I filled in groups of five here and here and here and here and a groups of four here . Here are the last four:

30. If I were a city I’d probably be Toronto. It’s the city I know best, although I admit I don't know the city itself super well/ However, I'm quite familiar with the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the fourth largest metropolitan area in North America (behind Mexico City, New York City and Los Angeles). The GTA has much to offer!
31. If I were a door I’d be at the entrance of a beautiful garden.
32. If I were a pair of shoes I’d be comfy walking shoes spring, summer and fall, and boots good to -30°C in winter.
33. If I were a poem I’d be about appreciating the natural world around us and how important nature is to our well-being.

WOW1 That is a tremendous foot bridge and I loved reading your answers.
What a great footbridge.. I like your answers.. Have a happy day!
What a wonderful bridge, elegant in it's simplicity!
Can't hear the workmen but in my mind I hear the water. Nice reflection of the bridge too.
If I were a city, I think I would be Vancouver -- at least in Canadian terms. Maybe Victoria although I know it less. TO is too much for me.
Beautiful river and bridge photo! Enjoyed your fill-ins. I've never been to Toronto but should travel there someday. And I had no idea it was that big!
Bridges seem to make good subject matter for photos ... this one is no exception. I also liked your church, door, and window photo in earlier post. Nice work, as always.
A little further down river from where I am!

33. Haiku and so much more.
glad we can't hear the noise while looking at this walkway bridge. i love nature like you do and i prefer it with only natures sounds.
I could be 4 different cities, all of which i know really well, Savannah, GA, Bradenton and St Peter Fl and the last is the one i would choose Ormond Beach FL...
It does look like a nice day but where's all the greenery? Maybe the workmen stole it?
I have loved reading your 'If I were" fill-ins. I read the one before this last night and don't think I posted a comment for some reason.
I have sure wished I had thought of some of your answers...
That's my idea of a great place to be a door/gate too! Lovely picture.
That's a wonderful bridge! I liked your answers as well.
This looks to be an iron bridge. I love it! So glad it's being kept up.
That is a lovely footbridge.
lovely footbridge!
if i had to be a shoe, i'd be a rain boot, otherwise i'd be barefoot. :)
Dearest EG; Oh, it's a kind of different from our footbridge; very lovely and I like the color.
If I were at time of 5 years old, I wish wish I were mom's high heel p:-)

I like footbridge and this one is wonderful! Your answers are really interesting...
That is such a nice bridge, I would love to walk it. When you mentioned the workmen repairing the bridge I could actually hear them!
Fine reflection of that bridge in the water. Glad the bridge is being repaired.
A very substantial bridge. I like the way you framed the photo. The scene looks so peaceful so I'm ignoring the fact there might be pounding and drilling going on. ;)
Ajax was a stumping ground when I was a kid.
What a great bridge and a marvelous capture as always!! And, as always, I love your answers to the "if I were" questions! Hope you have a great day!!
What a great shot of the walking bridge ... I have a small bridge near me that is just like that and I can't pass it without taking a picture of it. Don't know why, it just draws me. I also liked your fill-ins, especially the last one ... oh so true:) Lovely post EGC ...

That is quite a pretty bridge!
Such a tranquil scene!
Like everyone has already said--WOW!
I totally agree about nature. I would be the door to a garden, too! I like that bridge reflection!
Love your last five! I have five more in my next post tomorrow! The bridge is awesome, too with the reflections.
Great looking footbridge and fencing. I'd enjoy walking over it. - I agree about the "comfy" shoes.
Good-looking bridge. :)
Lovely choices EG. Now of course I'd like to stand on the bridge and look at the sand...
Nice cover and interesting looks in the picture. I like your answers to the fun, especially 32. Regards.
I remember wading in that creek many years ago!
Great stuff, I love a footbridge...
An impressive looking foot bridge. Like the reflections!
that bridge was built to last.
Cute footbridge and nice reflections.

I love footbridges. This looks like an expensive one.
I learned something new. I had no idea that Toronto was so darned big. Ignorant me.
Such a lovely spot to walk and such a pretty, soft reflection from the bridge!!
Nice reflection.
What a lovely bridge. I enjoyed reading your answers. I had to think about the city question. I think I'd choose to be Vancouver, like one of your other followers. It's the nicest city I've ever visited, not that I've seen all that many.
Love your outlook! :)
what an interesting footbridge :)
Id love to walk across it :)
I love bridges. I've done several posts on them!!!!
Lovely shot.
