Oh, I bet some of you thought I was going to show you photos of an old politician, didn't you? (I'm just kidding, right?)

This is one of two manure spreaders on a country road near me. I'm not sure why a farmer would need two so maybe someone out there can enlighten me.

Wonderful shots of decay and rust. Makes me wonder about the people who had used them.
It is both funny and sad that we all understand exactly what you mean by the politician joke. I wonder if this important piece of farming equipment operates nearly as often and as well. :)

That's a new one for me- I thought it was an old hay baler! I love rusty old antiques!
Maybe he needed a spare in case one got too rusty!
He needs two cos he has a lot of you know what to spread! Does this even work? It looks too far gone. Perhaps just a garden ornament now.

Nice shot! That manure spreader looks pretty clean for a manure spreader! As my father is a welder who does a lot of ag repair, we see a few once in a while--they're his least favorite projects.

Maybe the farmer is a collector of old and beautiful rusty things.. i love it. and we have enough Old Manure Spreaders in Washington DC to cover the US and Canada several times.
I think he should fill it with flowers! Or with something pretty. It could be a great piece of yard decoration.

Rusty but picturesque!
Rust is a loved by any photographer, so maybe the farmer had photography as a hobby?
Amazing how scenic old rusted farm machines can be! Even manure spreaders.
He probably needed two because he has a very large farm. Things like this you don't think of until you see it and then you realize, yeah they need implement to spread manure :)
