The cattle here were far more interested in foraging than looking up for a photo.

I hope they are eating just grass as the blue flowers (Viper's Bluegloss. Echium vulgare) can make them sick.

Were they eating the bugloss or just around it. Whatever, it looks pretty here, and along with the cows makes a nice scene.
This reminds me of our pastures of bluebonnets in the spring. But I've never seen a cow eating one. I think they must be bitter.
I guess the cows do not care about the beautiful flower...
Those blue flowers certainly look like a tasty treat. I wonder how easy it would be to avoid them because it looks like the grass is covered with them. How the cattle are pretty savvy about their meals!

The wildflowers are pretty. The cows seem content.
It is pretty and also invasive as you said. One can see that it is taking over the whole pasture there.

The flowers do look lovely in that meadow, EG! I guess the cows know better than to eat them.
I was thinking something must be really tasty for the cows to not even look up! Or else they are used to photographers!
The blue flower makes the 1st two photos look like watercolor paintings.

The purple flowers do make for a beautiful scene.
We do have lots of invasive plants, and even toxic grazing plants, in Washington state, but I haven't seen that one here, but it is on the weed list. it's too bad it so pretty but toxic at the same time. The red stamens are cute with the blue petals. Hopefully the cattle can discriminate.

I'm just watching a BBC period drama, these scenes look like they would fit in perfectly!
I have found that it is generally the case that bovines tend to avoid posing for the camera. Especially when chomping on grass, chewing their cud and producing milk! ;)
