Jackson's Point, Lake Simcoe
Another lovely late afternoon in December and we were out looking for migrating ducks. The only ones we saw were Buffleheads. But there were tons of reflections.

The weather's going to change, but I can't see that it will be a white Christmas this year! I hope the fishermen caught something.

Lovely, still reflections. Looks as if it could be a bit chilly out there on the water going by those jackets the fishermen are wearing.
Somehow it doesn't look cold enough for mid-December!

That's one part of the Lake Simcoe shoreline I've never been to.

Nothing like that late-afternoon light. Fun shots, but it looks a wee bit cold. In the first shot, I saw the red on the right and thought for a minute it was a British soldier...from a couple hundred years ago. Well, hey, it could have been!
I can't get over how relatively warm your winter is this year...so far!
Our winter so far has been similar but weather forecast which I am hearing as I type is cooling and may begin to change

I believe I wouold love to walk on the lake shores... preferably in summer! :-)))
Places/photos like these have a calming effect on me. And when I go fishing, it can ease the worst headache, or ease worries better than any medicine.
Even when the weather is unsettled and rough, where there are waters there are fishermen. Lovely photos.
