Clear Skies and Cold

The light at Bond Head on Lake Ontario

It seems like our skies are mostly overcast these days. But on Thursday the sky was a clear blue so my husband and I headed towards Lake Ontario to see if any waterfowl have begun heading north.

 Floating ice

Well, I did see some ducks but they were  annoyingly way too far away to get good photos. But look! I did get some photos of "swimming" ice!

This looks like a Minnesota Lake Superior shore and sky!

The only floating ice I ever see in Oklahoma is in my fountain drink. Great post.

That looks really cold with the ice and snow. It's almost March, so Spring can't be too far away.

Crisp and cold! How do those ducks take all that cold? Love all the clear blue photos that you are showing.

Floating Ice Duck - That should be a common species in Canada, at least in the winter, ya? :)
Have a Beautiful Day, Tina!
Peace :)

Oh, those beautiful blues! Days like this make up for the seemingly endless grey of winter...sort of.

Love the floating ice. Guess it's too cold for the waterfowl yet.

Some of the birds and ducks are still hanging around the bay in Quincy. I am enjoying their visit so please don't hurry them home! I like your winter shots.
