H/Friday Finds

 a. H, the shadow on the too-bright back leaf

H is the 8th letter in my alphabetography file. I hope the back leaf isn't so bright that it hurts your eyes.  Actually, I think a woods fairy was saying HI to me, but spelled it backwards.

 b. Favourite photo of the week

This is one of the roses I received on Valentine's Day. Isn't it gorgeous?

c. Family

A member of my family takes knitting with her wherever she goes. (I usually take my camera.) Here she's trying on the sock she's knitting.  I didn't see her put her shoe on over the needles though.

Love your colourful photos. That is a very beautiful Valentine's rose. I have never knitted socks before. This is a pretty sock.

The leaves are beautifully lit by the rays of the sun, and the rose is beautiful. Regards.

Fun photos. Of course I zeroed in on the sock. Very interesting. I'm curious about the little safety pin though. I do like knitting socks.

You are so creative in finding the letters, way better than I would be.

That's funny! I hope you took the chance to needle her a little bit about holding everything together with a safety pin!

What beautiful macro . colorful shots. They are awesome. Oh, how I wish I could still knit my socks. I loved it until the arthritis got the best of me from years and years of knitting. I always wore one of one sock pattern and one of another. That was my claim to fame.LOL I loved wearing different one. It was such fun. I can remember so well putting them on like this trying them on for the length. Beautiful yarn. genie

Love the H! I'm sure the fairy was just spelling Hi from the other side of the leaf. That rose is stunning! I am amazed at anyone that can take yarn and turn it into something. It is way beyond my skills. Fun photo! Thank you so much for joining me for Friday's Hunt.

A beautiful rose - they are such gorgeous flowers. Maybe your wood fairy is dyslexic.

The 'H' is artistic, and what can one say about such a lovely red rose - perfect for a day of romance!

You're still amazing me with where you're finding the alphabet letters. Somebody loves you to buy such a gorgeous rose, would love this one in the garden and at our flower show. ;-)

Even though it's Saturday night I had to come see the natural "H". It looks fine, nice leaf picture. The sock looks like it will be pretty. If she left the toes open it could be worn either way, making it last longer. I never noticed that before.
