Swamp Shapes

 Creek in the swamp

This time of year it's easy to see where the creek flows. I like the shapes it makes in the snow.

 Curvy lines

The country road runs right through the swamp so...

The other side of the road

I also took some photos of the other side.

I am joining Wednesday Waters HERE.

That first shot is a winner...place it with the other winners hanging on your wall or in your gallery!

Yes, interesting shapes, but the ice doesn't look thick enough to walk on, so I would stick to the road. Fine shots.

It looks very pretty in there. I wonder if the road floods in springtime.

Nature always surprises us with her own beauty and you were there to take these wonderful pictures.

I love the curves and patterns your creek makes through the snow. I cannot even imagine such a thing so I'm glad you've shared with this African at the other side of the world!

Great pictures.The patterns are interesting.

Honey you reminded me of the frozen creeks of my mid Atlantic childhood. Thanks

These shots just sing "winter!" And they certainly show a creek in a much more interesting way than when it's not frozen.
