It is nice to see a turtle. We used to see them all the time at creeks and rivers but I have not seen one in many years.

He's adorable. I love watching my red-eared sliders sunbathing on the log at the swamp. They line up according to size! So cute.

There is a little one out at the strip pit area, well, actually more than one, but they are very shy and slip into the water soon as the car stops.

Painted turtles spend countless hours sunbathing when the water is cold and the sun warm. Good capture and excellent Camera Critter!

What a great shot! Do they live in the wild where your live! In Norway they do not, only in captivity. I am not sure if that is allowed any more. Cute little fellow!
