Lake Simcoe/Our World

Lake Simcoe yesterday

Eat your heart out, Floridians. Imagine yourself sitting in one of these Muskoka chairs with a margarita in you hand!

Brrr! OK, I admit it's too cold to wear a bikini...but hey! There's still no ice on the lake.

Ah, a large vodka, very warm clothing, then sit back and enjoy the view... at least for five minutes. Cheers!

Well, shoot! Y'all sent us your Canadian air so now we can't sit out and enjoy margaritas, either! That's not nice to do on Christmas. Oh wait, I think it's getting up to about 80 today. Maybe margaritas this afternoon! No bikini, though. They look really funny on me.

I've been a very naughty blogger just recently, what with my internet going wrong and then as soon as it was fixed, the Christmas Variety Show and now all the Christmas prep.... however I promise to be better in the future. So Have a Happy Christmas and all the best for 2013!

A delightful scene - and wow, look at all those icicles hanging from the underside of the landing! ... fabulous. A very Happy Christmas to you and yours. Snow or not, kick back and have a Margarita or two (as long as you're not driving)!!

I love the icicles! For some reason I just thought of Santa in a bikini — all your fault. LOL
Wishing you and yours the best of the holiday season and in the coming year.

Merry Christmas, and thanks for these beautiful images!

Let's hear it for the hardy souls who would savor some time in those chairs even with a little frost around the edges.

No ice on the lake, but those iciles are pretty healthy!!!
But I agree - a warm parka, and hot chocolate in a heated mug would be heavenly!!!

Love the picture with the Muskoka chairs on the dock. I'd sit there in winter and enjoy the views. I'm last with my 'Our World' post this week but finally got it up today at craftygardener.ca
