Canoe Views

Paddlers out enjoying the autumn colours

Last Tuesday afternoon was a glorious day and many sightseers visiting Algonquin Provincial Park were out enjoying nature in rented canoes.

Meandering along the Opeongo River

The colour was considered past peak, but I thought it was still quite pretty.  (The leaves had just started to change where I live, a couple of hours south of the park.)

when I think of Fall in Canada, those are the pictures I imagine, just perfect.

I love the canoe, lime green was my favorite color when I was a young girl. We did not seem to get any reds this fall, that happened the first year we lived here and that was a very wet summer, and this year we had a very wet spring.

Fantastic colors...especially the canoe and the pine pic. I can almost feel cool breezes washing across the land as it prepares for the coming winter.

My favorite shot is the first one. It's so well-composed and such great colors and reflections!

Beautiful fall colors! We haven't had much color here yet. Not sure we are going too. It's been too dry.

I haven't canoed once this year. It saddens me. The Park was purportedly quite lovely. I made it to Huntsville, though. The colours were wonderful!
