Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
A pleasing sight with not much disturbance in the sky.
I'm not familiar with that area, so I especially enjoy these photos. We just got a new Burlington Coat Factory store here, but I'm not sure that has anything to do with your Burlington.Love that ice floating in the water. Don't think I'll take a dip today, though.
A couple of nice scenes. I can hardly wait until the ice is gone.
my eyes went first to the floating sheets of ice.. looks like it is breaking up....
Pretty scenes and skies! Have a happy Sunday!
Bet it's good to see those blue skies EG.. Amazing foe me to see chunks of ice in the water.. won't ever happen in the Swan River :)
How pretty it is there! :)
nice to see the sun on the water
Ah yes, the sun has come out here as well.
Our world is beautiful because of lights and shadows.
Beautiful scenic photos ~ great to see ice melting ~ xxxcarol and artmusedogwww.acreativeharbor.com
A familiar sight! My BFF lives in Burlington and my sister used to live in Hamilton.
These here almost look like paintings. Great images.MersadMersad Donko Photography
Wow, big chunks of ice in the water.
I like to visit harbours! ☃ Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
Great light in these photos. I'm impressed to see liquid water! With our recent temps around zero we haven't seen anything but ice and snow.
It looks like you had a lovely day to be outdoors. The islands of ice patches make the surface of the water look quite interesting. And so, the melting begins.Karen
Lovely views, EG!
You got some sun! We are still waiting. Great views.
The ice looks like artwork!
I like the ice flows.
That ice is fabulous, EG!
Rather nice to see the ice broken up in the canal along with some sunshine.
Such a beautiful blue skyGreetings
I am surprised not to see more compete ice out there.
Those chunks of ice are impressive. I am surprised at the open water. We're totally frozen here.
I remember the canal in Ottawa and we would skate on it every year, then rain would close it down. I looked at the ice in the pictures and it reminded me of the first thaw.
Hooray for sunny skies! A welcome sight after all the storms you've had.
Beautiful views across the water. The ice breaking up is a good sign that spring is on her way.
They rhythm of the seasons is so much more pronounced in Ontario than it is here. The ice break-up was always a signal that spring wasn't far behind. I like that sort of marking of time.
Love those clouds and pop of red in the second shot. Those chunks of ice are huge! C'mon spring!!!
I am ready for some blue skies to come and stay a while!
Very peaceful. It must have been very early on a weekend morning?
