Fringed Poppy

These poppies are annuals that reseed themselves every year in my gardens. They bloom every year in July.

Your third poppy photo is my favorite, EG camera girl!
In the second photo the background is much too busy. That's what I always try to avoid when taking objects and people. The eye of a viewer should have the opportunity to linger over the main motif without too much distraction.
