This photo was actually taken a couple of weeks ago but some geese are still gathering on local ponds, refusing to believe winter is coming.
Truth be told, many ducks and geese are often here till there's significant ice and that hasn't happened yet.

Oh those honkers--they just like to show off. Cute!! MB
We were thinkin' alike this mornin'! I love the splashing action you got! Have a great weekend :)
Even for a couple of weeks ago they're splashing around like it's summer!
Great action shot.
We have the ducks, but gees left long ago. Glad that they live up to their name and stay in Canada!
Great action shot. I love to see the geese no matter when they are around but they stay quite late into the snowy season here as well.
Splish splash! Looks like fun!
Amazing photo, marvellous freeze, splendid frame, cute subject!
No honkers on the pond this summer as someone killed all the adults last summer...
Splish splash! Cute picture.
Look at em all splashing & having fun. Splish Splash I was taking a bath!!!
Great shot! Have a great weekend.
Oh how funny they look like there having a splashing good time
Looks a lot like The Space Cadet splashing through a big wave here on the beach in Florida, only difference is that the water is a little warmer here.
Perfection, catching the moment. Great splash pattern against the light.
I like the spray action going on. Great shot!
I always wonder don't they ever get cold? To my way of thinking, how birds survive at all is a miracle...then to get in the water and play at this time of year makes it even more so.
a splashing good time sandy
Beautiful shot! The droplets are clear and so are the grass blades.
I betcha the ones that live in the parking lot where I work never leave. I like them much better when they're flying.
You really get it on the perfect moment.
Great shot! I enjoy seeing Canada Geese, in your pond, or in our Arkansas rice fields, very soon, if not already.
What a fantastic capture! I love it!
