Hey! What's with the snow?
Hmmm. I flew north for this?These photos were taken earlier this week. The robin and I are pleased to announce that most of the snow has now melted!

I have a male robin that runs under the suet feeder anytime he sees a bird using it and grabs the crumbs. I think it's pretty smart as the cold temps have made their lives difficult.....

I'm always excited to see the robins return each spring. I've got a pair busying themselves with nesting under our deck. Beautiful photos!

Funny, Neal sees robins all winter but we sure don't here...we have discussed this and don't know the reason. We are on about exactly the same latitude so he doesn't live farther south than us.

I prefer the top photo - the angle of the robins beak reflects the angle of the fence it's on - which makes for a very "easy on the eye" photograph... if you know what I mean. It's got a nice balance...
