Fence Sitter/ Camera Critters

Hey! What's with the snow?

Hmmm. I flew north for this?

These photos were taken earlier this week. The robin and I are pleased to announce that most of the snow has now melted!

Good shots of the Robin. I love his comments.

BTW. The robins have been here much longer than the first Trillium. I hope yours appear soon. MB

The robins never leave Indiana so they must not mind snow.

Beautiful shots with excellent detail and color. We had light snow here too (less than you had), but it is gone now.

I have a male robin that runs under the suet feeder anytime he sees a bird using it and grabs the crumbs. I think it's pretty smart as the cold temps have made their lives difficult.....

Pretty little birdie...I like your tail...mind if I have just a little a taste?

EG: Really nice captures of the Robin. I like the flaired tail, I never saw one do that.

I'm always excited to see the robins return each spring. I've got a pair busying themselves with nesting under our deck. Beautiful photos!

He is fluffed up like he is a little bit disgusted with that snow!

Funny, Neal sees robins all winter but we sure don't here...we have discussed this and don't know the reason. We are on about exactly the same latitude so he doesn't live farther south than us.

Glad to hear that the robins have made a good spring forecast.

I would be pleased too - and am, as most of ours is gone too. :)

Lovely colouring.

I prefer the top photo - the angle of the robins beak reflects the angle of the fence it's on - which makes for a very "easy on the eye" photograph... if you know what I mean. It's got a nice balance...
