the fact that there are two birds and two peaks really makes this photo work. Definintely caught a moment with this one. Cool shot!
Yes, nice one!!!
Cute. I think the lower bird is trying to figure out how to knock the top bird off his perch!
LOVE this one!!!
Fantastic picture!Lovely sepia!
This place is so beautiful! You know...I have a dream...I want to visit your "Province Ontario" someday!!!!
Léia
Nice shot. They must be playing "king of the hill".
Neat Sepia photo... I love that there are birds in the picture... That made it even more special!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Another great sepia addition - I imagine after you snapped the picture, they fought over position as King Of The Mountain! LoL!
Perfect! It's a beautiful shot.
Hi EG - Birds and Barns. Sublime. Has the feel of near dawn or near sunset.
AND - here's what I do in answer to your question.
what I do is convert my image to natural in Microsoft Photo Suite. It gives it a really subtle and natural tone. Then I uploaded it to Flickr and used the photo editing software that you can find there. I have only the basic but I like it so much that I'm going to buy the upgrade version. Once I have it on Flickr, I curve the corners, make frames if it looks right (it did not in this case) and play with saturation and contrast. I usually stop when it all feels just right.
You have wonderful balance in this shot, beautifully framed. How nice of the birds to pose for you!
I wonder if it's a hot tin roof...and thats why they're perched there to get the warmth?
This is a great shot and works v ery well in sepia
Hail to thee sepia spirit!
Aloha
Good catch! It almost looked like a weather vane.
I think they are going to take turns. MB
The bird at the bottom is really looking as if he's scouting the availability of the top position!
Great angle for this beautiful shot.
Haha, maybe it is envyous :) Nice composition!
Perhaps the lower bird is afraid of heights. Great photo! Thanks for your visit!
Very nice composition. The off-center really highlights the bird on the top as your eye is drawn upwards.
Master of all he surveys.
I like the wispy touch with the tree on the right. Makes it all the more stark.
Lovely and I prefer to think that the bird above is the guard or protector of the one below, so she doesn't mind :-)
good question and great photo. I love the details brought out in the barnwood
Stop by to see my sepia scene
the bird on the bottom is grateful for a lookout!
beautiful in sepia!!
He does look like a king bird right on the top! It's a great picture.
Neither bird is the superior. The fact that those two are up there (while we humans are not) means that they are merely superior to us...
l like the simplicity of this a lot. It is very intriguing.
I like this sepia photo and I definitely think the lower bird is trying to end up on top!
Those two birds have no idea how famous they are. There's always something rustic in EG for SS. I love it. Have a good weekend.
I really am not sure if birds have feelings of envy, but..maybe they do!
Nice capture.
