Triangles/ Photo Hunter
This week's Photo Hunter challenge: triangles
OK, I admit I'm a bit obsessed with gables this week...but aren't they fascinating, especially these on old homes?
Three-sided figures, but all different sizes. Even the angles are not the same.
A triangle is a triangle is a triangle...NOT!

beautiful gable captures for triangles...
i am still in a quandry what to post :)
have a wonderful day.
I love the triangles AND the windows below them too. MB
Love all the different photo challenges out there to inspire us, I need to bookmark more of them! Great shots of some lovely buildings:)
Oh, how I love the older homes, they just don't build them with the same character anymore. I have been getting pics of all the old Loyalist homes here in Picton and I just love the detail. These are beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing and again have a great weekend.

I don't blame your fascination with gables -- they are beautiful! I am a little surprised at purple tho. . .
How interesting they each are and even tho similar in shape they are individual in execution.
Darla
You found three beauties! Excellent.
Gorgeous triangle photos, EG... I especially like that 3rd one although I'd never choose purple for the color of my home... But that one is pretty!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
great triangles, I'll post mine in the morning
Lots of triangles! Besides the main ones that you list, there are the bits and pieces of the roof or chimney, adding more triangles to each of your photos! But there are such differences in each of the gables; makes you think about why there are the differences, and why one appeals more than another...
Or even, why did they paint it purple?
Oh these are all wonderful. The last one almost has a hansel and gretel feel to it, for me. Happy weekend.
Lovely! A really nice selection of shots for the theme! Happy Easter
Three triangles... ;-) They are beautiful houses.
Lovley collections of triangles and buildings you show us! :)
Mine is up too!
Have a great Easter!

What caught my eye were the reflections. Good job!
Something about those triangles. They DO beckon!
They are beautiful! Not sure which is my favorite...I am always looking at things like this and thinking how beautiful, but how much work.
Interesting ideas for triangles, the craftsmanship is just wonderful. We don't see much of that quality/nostalgia in our homes here in California.
I like the gable in purple and white. It feels like home to me.
My thought too, but from the inside, out.
What a beautiful architectural design.
Beautiful triangles!
Love old houses!
They are fascinating and make houses so much more interesting.
Excellent...both in finding the triangles AND the photography!!!!
My photo is posted. It's an all time favorite photo I scanned from years ago...there's just GOTTA be a triangle in there somewhere. I had to post it....goes with the holiday weekend too well, to not post it. Come on over...have a glorious, peaceful weekend my photo hunting friend!!!!!
I agree with you...love those structures too, and love that shade of green in the first photo!
Interesting images!
Happy Easter!
beautiful triangles you chose for today!
They are all so pretty. Nicely done.
Love the triangles and house gables! I didn't do PH this week. But always want to visit you and give a feast to my eyes, EG! :)
All very nice! You mention gables- I've been noticing brickwork lately, especially on a lot of old buildings- some of it is beautiful!
visualize the lines
What exquisite architecture! I love gables, too. These homes are in such wonderful shape. :)
I hope you have a chance to see mine.

Have a great weekend. He is risen!
Beautiful shots! Great take on the theme.
I found your shots fascinating. They all had wonderful details.
Triangles AND purple? You're jumping the gun. :)
Love your take on this weeks theme. Great photos too!
I found it hard to find triangles in my house this week but I did finally find some.
Mine's up and ready...come on over!
Very good hunt and excellent photos!
I love the gables, especially the ginger bread house ones. Beautiful photographs and perfect for the theme.
My triangles are up here.
Oh, I love that purple one with the gingerbread!
Hope you can stop by to visit - Have a great weekend!
Wonderful triangles, well spotted! What beautiful houses.
