What a beautiful place and photograph. Great take on the theme.
Beautiful shot! LOVE the bench in the background too!
Absolutely beautiful monument and bell in a terrific environment of flowering trees and a BENCH too! What else could make it better? Aha! I know, by the beach!!!!!!!!!! lol
The whole picture is stunning -- forget my beach comment. . .
Amazing how fast it goes from a snow covered ground to a lush and blooming paradise.
Lovely historical photo. So calm.
Such a lovely setting. I'd love to toss a blanket under that blooming tree and have a little picnic!
Beautiful shot and great take of this theme!

A beautiful place to sit and read a book or simply to sit and wait for some inspiration.

A parkette, must mean a small park. It's beautiful!
The only problem would be if that school bell should ring.
Would remind me of teaching those
dumb ding-a-lings!
Love the color of that tree and the bench is great. Such a peaceful setting.

I love old bells...they always make me think of stilled voices and I wonder what they used to sound like.
Beautiful looking place... and the slab bench looks about as perfect a place to rest and take stock as ever I've seen.
lovely little park - so tranquil
the bench would be a good place to enjoy the flowering crab
i like the comment about the stilled voices
