Garbage/ Photo Hunter

Old ice-fishing huts and worn-out tires

This week's Photo Hunter challenge: Garbage

This is the backyard of a farm barn that just happens to be beside a road where passersby can easily see from the busy country road. Well, at least the owners cannot see the mess from their home.

I'm not sure why the farmer is storing so many fishing huts or why he's collecting all these tires. And I'm not going to knock on his door to ask - just in case he has a junkyard dog. Anyone volunteering?

Excellent take on this theme EG!
And wonderful shot.

Have a great weekend!

Great photo. I can only imagine that someone had an idea to produce mobile fishing huts at one time! Seriously have a great weekend

Love the muted colours and wouldn't mind owning such a fishing hut!

Good photo - the silvery trees make look like a winter scene. This place would look fantastic with a coat of frost!

I love how clear and crips and lovely this photograph is. You certainly know how to showcase "rubbish". Enjoy the weekend.

I agree - stay away from the owner - may be the kind sleeping with a loaded gun on his/her porch :) I knew a person who built a fence out of used tires - it was ugly but - hey - it is not my fence - we are free to do that :)

Ha, I'm afraid I'd be too much of a chicken to knock on the door and ask. I like the way this looks as a photograph. It has a artistic feel to it although I can see it might get old as a regular view. Great take on the theme.

I think somebody should turn that junk into a work of art for all those who CAN see this pile of garbage to enjoy! Great capture for the theme!

I'd only slow down my car enough to stick my camera out the window ......

This is an amazing shot, despite the subject. So much to see. Excellent choice for the theme.

Nope, not me. I just like looking at your picture. Some folks will collect most anything, and I bet there isn't too many our there with a collection of fishing huts.

Some people seem to be unable to part with stuff. Happens all the time.

Have a great weekend.

Now this is definitely fitting for the theme....I can just HEAR the rats in there!

This week's theme will be quite interesting to see what everyone came up with for their photos. Yours, my friend, is excellent actually!!! Mine is posted, come on over to my blog, if you can...

Have a great Saturday.

Before I saw any comments, I thought, "Would make a neat panting!" Now I see others think so too. Ü

This shot has a beautiful blue cast about it... trashy area but a beautiful capture none the less.
My construction trash or garbage is up.

Your photo of this garbage scene makes an otherwise visual nuisance look artfully pleasing!

Maybe he wants to sell them? I would hate having that mess in my neighborhood though.
