Boathouses/ Watery Wednesday
I've posted this for Jacob who said he wanted to see a coloured version of the boathouses when I posted this (cropped a bit) in monochrome. Click here to see the black and white photo.

I like color better too. Love the splash of red. My friend has a red canoe and it makes for great pictures on the beach or in the water. MB
BTW: I don't spin but I did just get a wheel and not will learn. MB
Just great, now I have to go whizz.
I'd love to stay right on the water like that.

I like the color better too, EG... Some B&W's are great... But--this picture is pretty in color. Wouldn't it be neat to live on the water --and go downstairs to get in your boat???? Wow!
Hugs,
Betsy
The black and white was lovely, but I love the color too.
What a beautiful place, looks kind of norwegian but I guess it isn't.
I've never seen anything like that. I've read about a lot of boathouses in books, so now this image will be in my mind.
Oh wow. To live like this.
These look familiar. Are they?
OK, forget my previous comment, I hadn't read the "for Jacob" bit. I love the b&w though of course the red is enticing.
It's beautiful!
And that boat is only one detail because the boathouses took the scene! :)
Perfect post dear friend,
Léia
You won't be surprised if I tell you that I love your shot.
some sool houses. Do tehy live there?
Both are nice photos.
Boathouses are very different from the houseboats we have around here. I love your photo of the boathouses.
Lovely nautical colours! They look quite cosy - I like that they have two floors.
These houses look beautiful and expensive.
I've always been fascinated by boat houses. And always wanted a taste of living there.

It must be lovely to stay in one of those and hear the water splashing against the house while you sleep.
Great shot. My photo this week features somthing that is not exactly water but is water related.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
WOW ... lovely! We don't have anything like this that I know of here in Southern California!
Hugs and blessings,
A loverly view.. :O))
Those are literally boat houses. It must be nice to live above your boat. I think I prefer the color version as well.
Lov ethe boathouses and I like the color version too.
How cool to drive right up to your stairs, and be out of the weather too.
B.
Oh! I like this also!
This the same shot that you posted a while back, right? But in b&w. I like the color...very dramatic and a beautiful place!
Well done!
I like both pics - I like whatever it is that you do to your b&w's, but I also like color.
Happy Watery Wednesday!
Looks like a comfortable weather for that boating!
I like this picture and the little piggy too. :)
I like the sharpness in the picture. I feel like I'm in the middle of the picture.
Interesting. They look like ordinary houses, but with boats rather than cars in their garages. Cool.
another great image with color!
I like your shot also it is cool. Happy watery Wednesday.
oh, what a wonderful place to live, especially when you don't get typhoons every week like we do here.:P
Great photo. I´d love to have it like that.
Thanks for visiting me too.

The view is best accented by the red canoe, great shot!
Here's to a Watery Wednesday in the Korean side of the world.
Great place and shots. Really watery!
"Regina's Post Here"
That shot looks so peaceful and calm. We all need a bit of relaxation like this. Happy WW!
That's watery. Are the houses also floating?
This is very nice. I'd like to live in the house part, except not in the winter!
Both versions are lovely but the color looks more peaceful. Great shot!
Your boathouses are so nice. Here boathouses are only like red barns !
Nature Footstep,
Yes people live there during the summer months.
Those boatfouses are lovely! I would love to be there...
Your photos always amaze me!
Wow, what an amazing job color does. In this picture it works like a time machine! The B&W picture looked so vintage, and this one is absolutely up to date.
I do like the color version best. It's so subtle and clean feeling. What a different life style that is with a boat in the garage...I also like that splash of red. Very nice photo!
