Bubbles under melting ice

Today the temperature outdoors is 3°C (37°F) so the ice is MELTING. Yes, slowly...but it IS melting!

That is really neat. Nice macro.

I am so sorry you all are under a blanket of the snowy stuff. But is seems to be warming up a tad bit for you. 37F--we are about 15 degrees warmer. I am sending some warmth your way. MB

That's so cool! No pun intended. . . it is 60 degrees here today and I have given up looking for more snow. sigh

It almost looks like soap bubbles...and that one line of bubbles looks like a snake has shed its skin.

Glad to hear it's warming up some. Won't be long now 'til spring rises up to greet you with sunshine and flowers!

Oh, I just love bubbles under the ice. So interesting!
Our temp. got above freezing today, and plenty of melting, but now everything is slushy, and miserable to walk around. We still have a ton of snow.
Have a great week.
