High Style/ Window Views

House #1 with a tower
Hmmmm....

House #2 with tower

Notice anything similar about these two towers?  One is on a human house and...

one is for the birds.

I wish I could have taken a better photo of the human house but it's surrounded by a fence. The birdhouse - made to look like the house complete with two rooster weather vanes - is on a pole above the fence. (Squint your eyes and you can see one of the tiny weather vanes above the left-hand tower.) Lucky birds, don't you think?

A series on bird houses could be in order.

That is definitely a high-fallutin' bird house. Fit for a king (fisher).

That birdhouse is CUTE! Has anyone taken up residence?

Very lucky birds. Do you know if it is occupied? A lot of work went into making the birdhouse.

It would be fun to live in a big house with towers. Great studio I would imagine. MB

Fascinating. Somebody put a lot of work into that bird house.

Now all we need is to hook up utilities, and start charging rent. But then you know there's the problem of too many families under one roof, and then they play their music too loud... You better make them sign an association contract.

how interesting--do a lot of homes have miniature birdhouses to match?

What fantastic shots, and who would have known about the bird house if you hadn't mentioned it.

Absolutely stunning -- both the house and the miniature birdhouse one.

Growing up I always wanted to live in a house with a tower. I LOVE that they had a birdhouse made to match the house. So cool...
