Near Port Cunnington, Ontario on Lake of Bays
On Sunday, we woke up to snow and overcast skies but by afternoon there were breaks in the clouds and the sun shone through.

I have enjoyed this series of shots. The colors in the sky and the water interrupted by the tree line is very pleasing to the eye. I can't believe the lavender that pops out.
Lake of Bays is a great lake! This makes me long for the cottage even more. Haven't been up yet!
I agree, thank good ness that snow has gone. I don't want to see another snowflake for a VERY LONG TIME!
That's a lovely view. I can just imagine myself down on the dock with a nice hot cuppa coffee, watching the water and listening to the birds.
We had the same weather here, and the past 2 nights the temp has been way below freezing and have probably lost our apples and many flowers.
Love this scene. I'd very much like to be out on that lake fishing right now! It's cold and raining here!
B.
I'd love to be sitting in a boat on that bay.

What a peacefull place! Wonderful photo, I like it:-)
If you want to freeze, come on over. Nice rain and winter coats.
That little boathouse -or do you call it a cabin- is just so perfect. Do you know the French song "ma cabane au Canada"? That's what springs to mind!
This is a beautiful scene. I certainly hope you are finished with snow for this season!
Snow? How dare it? Another gorgeous lake shot...there is nothing like the northern lakes!
Such a very beautiful, serene place. Thank you.
What a beautiful view! I could hang out there for hours!
Soon we will be able sit by the lake without all the winter gear. Lovely view. Take care.
It's beautiful place to visit.
I can't believe what's happening with the weather here in Ontario.
Thanks for the visit.

Gorgeous. I can't believe you had snow! Brrr.
A peaceful place and the clouds are like a painting in the sky.
I cannot believe you had snow!
A beautiful serene photo. It looks like the house is floating on water...is it? ;-D
A beautiful and peaceful place. There is a small house or restaurant on the side, they must love staying there viewing the lovely scenery everyday.
wonderfull
Did the grinch actually bring you the snow? The weather has been erratic here too.
The waters of peace are here. Very beautiful!
That is my vision of Ontario from here on out. Wonderful.
Looks like a heavenly spot. Valerie

This looks like a quiet, relaxing place to be. A fine Watery Wednesday entry!
It looks so peaceful. I wouldn't mind waking up there, in hail, rain or snow, it looks like heaven on earth.
I love that little boat shed on the water. What a great lake to walk by, such a fantastic photo.
