1930 mint-green Ford
On a short holiday in Upstate New York a few weeks ago, we spotted this "dream car" sitting in a small parking lot in front of an ice cream place. Through the windshield, you can see the car's owner eating ice cream.
The owner graciously consented to let me take photos of his pride and joy.

Wouldn't you like to go for a drive and an ice cream in this neat car?

Yes indeed, I want a ride. I have to find just the right period clothes to wear first.

Yes, but must be careful not to drip melted ice cream on the seats.
I'd be happy to go for a ride if you'd accompany me.
I think everyone is captivated by these vintage cars!
I would love a ride!
Oh wow! What a cool car. It would be so much fun to own a car like this. MB
i'd be too scared to eat ice cream in it...i'm a mess!
but the car is amazing.
Dream car is right! Just beautiful! My first car was a 1937 Chevy (which I proceeded to customize) and my second was a 1950 Plymouth coupe - dark green with wood grain dash.
What a fantastic car! I love the way you captured it in that first photo.
I would love a drive in that car! Along a lovely lakeside side drive on a warm summer eve! And definitely ice cream!
That old car rocks. Surely not the original paint job, I'm guessing. And now I'm hungry for ice cream!
Thanks for stopping by our blog today.
Oh yeah, I 'll take a ride in this old car. Makes me want some mint ice cream, too.
Love to take that for a spin. And speaking of ice cream, I've always loved rocky road, which I haven't had in years.
OK, I'll go for a ride in this beauty. Love it.
About the feeders. I have several window feeders that stick on with suction cups. That might work for you.

What a lovely and nostalgic vision you present in these photos.
Beautiful - and being enjoyed, not just shown at a cruise night!
I'd love to take a ride!! Looks like a neat, old car.
fantastic car!
What fun a ride would be, not on too hot a day though since for sure there's no a/c in that baby. (That's the Israeli in me coming out.) I love the way you've framed the picket fence through the window in that first shot.

This looks like something right out of Walt Disney - only much better. Great shot!
How cool!!!! Perfect for ice cream eating....
What a beautiful car!
Oh I just love these old cars and that's a lovely color. You have captured it beautifully.
My thanks to your dad for his service in the Navy. I also served in the Navy. You might wish to read the comment by Suzanne Giesemann I just posted.
That is a beautiful car. There is one on Craigslist a plymouth a 1933 for sale it is only 11,000 dollers.
Hugs ♥♥♥
Wouldn't you just love to have that to run around in? It is gorgeous.
I think it's wonderful that this car has been so well maintained. I'd gladly take a ride, even without the ice cream!
I wonder, does it have a rumble seat? I remember driving in one once when I was just a little girl, in the olden days I guess.
Ann Lovely car
wow it's vintage and fabulous!
Léia :)
