Dee River, Windemere, Ontario
In October, the Dee River quietly wends its way through rocks and banks clothed in evergreens and deciduous trees until...
Dee Fall, Windemere, Ontario
it tumbles over the Dee Bank Falls on its way to Lake Rosseau.

How beautiful! I always say I love going to the beach, but I think inland water might be my favorite place to spend time.
Another beautiful Fall day.
What a great Alphabe-Thursday photo for the letter D.
Yes, I followed the link to find out what that alphabe thing was all about.

Very lovely, fascinating nature! :)
I love how you captured the movement of the water. The river is wonderful.
Gorgeous images! Thank you today for giving me a peaceful and calm vision in my poor migraine aching head! Anne
What a lovely D post... looks like the Dee River is a peaceful river to canoe... until you get to the falls.
[You may be right that the "temple" drum is a translation issue, yet still curious for a country with a high number of English speakers that it would stick.]
I can actually smell the crisp autumn air and feel the cool wet water!!
Quite beautiful!
that second shot is just so pretty ... it make me want to be there!
Such pretty shots. I love that you captured some autumn in them. Happy Alphabet Thursday!
Çanada, here I come!

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful area.
What an absolutely breath-taking stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter D.
These pictures make me long for cooler climes where water confettied with autumn leaves dances in the sunlight.
Thank you for linking these lovely pictures of a place I've never been.
A+
Beautiful photos!
Oh my goodness! I sort of think that photo is what heaven looks like. Tranquil and beautiful. I am touring the Alphabe Thursday class from Jenny's.
Beautiful fall colours around this lovely river. Good choice for D.
Thank you for visiting my D-post and leaving your thoughts about how the dogs felt about being photographed. Actually pictures do not always tell the whole story. The first pictures of the young man with the two bull terrier does not reveal how friendly these dogs were to me. I put down my camera and gave the girl-dog with the black spot on her eye or ear a really good cuddle and she returned by giving me a very sweet doggie-kiss. This man was very nice to us and asked if we were thinking about getting a dog for the children.
The older man with the Dachshund-girl dog was sort of shy. We did not talk that much with him or stay very long time with him. His little dog was also very shy, even if you would not think so looking at the photo.
Now I would like invite you to return to my D-post and take another look as I have added another dog.
My cat Sara would also like to invite you to visit her blog-post for ABC-Wednesday, if you have the time.
Best wishes,
Anna

Wow...what a beautiful fall day in Ontario. We, in BC, haven't reached that "crispy cold" yet. Hope we can get our crops in before it does...:)
Thanks for sharing!
