This is definitely an autumn shot...the trees and their gorgeous reflection in the water. I would love to be sitting there either at sunrise or sunset with a good book and a glass of wine. I agree with the others that it looks like a beautiful painting.
Lovely shot - still a lot of color. You mentioned that Toronto was in peak color and so are we so far south - with every 1000 feet of elevation it is like being 300 miles further north so at 4-6000 feet, we are more like 1200 miles further north than we actually are.
Somehow the leaves still have that golden beauty even though they are past their prime. We're having the same here, and it won't be long now. The forecast for Thursday night is maybe s--w! :~( B.
wow I like the reflection in the water. Very beautiful. My entry is here http://sharonlyn79-sharonlyn79.blogspot.com/2010/10/camiguin-island-watery-wednesday.html
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

I've come to believe that there really is no peak to fall colors: in fact all of the season is perfect! Wonderful photograph.
It looks very much like an oil painting.

Painterly beauty.
Perfect with such warm colors! As always a great pic!
The past peak part makes them look golden, which makes a wonderful rich-looking reflection. It's a beautiful picture.
I wish to be more closer to nature's foliage! One of the best time of the year is to enjoy the colors.
Nicely done, as usual. And yes, still very colorful!
Yes still very colorful. Here in MI we can still some colors but most of the leaves are on the ground now. Time for raking.

looks like my place. But our leaves are mostly on the ground now. :)
Soon the leaves will drop, and the children will ahve a great time playing with leaves.
It's hard to believe that the colors are past their peak. The reflections -- and the entire picture -- are absolutely gorgeous.
